Samuel Talsma

CFO

Samuel Talsma serves as Chief Financial Officer for Second Nature Brands, where he is responsible for leading the global finance function and strategic planning process, cross-functional performance management, and transformational value creation initiatives to drive sustainable growth.

Prior to joining Second Nature Brands in 2025, Sam was the CFO of Astro Shapes, where he led a successful private equity exit. He previously spent eight years at Stanley Black & Decker and MTD in executive roles, including CFO of Stanley Outdoor, Americas, and VP of Finance for Asia Pacific. Earlier in his career, he held financial leadership positions at Whirlpool Corporation and worked in management consulting.

Sam holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.A. from Albion College. He is a CPA, a CFA charter holder, and is bi-lingual in Mandarin.
